Corruption has spread through the mainland and CARROT production will cease to exist, resulting in widespread shortages. The townsfolk gathered and to solve their problem, a new currency was born: $CROWN. To preserve the remaining $CARROT, the Keeper has built barrels for farmers to purchase and keep the corruption at bay. Foxes and Hunters, now desperate for $CARROT, are out for blood and have increased the taxes on the farm (they’ve also been seen taking bribes). With $CROWN, peace has returned to the farm.
Comings Changes to the Farm
A new currency: $CROWNS.
With the advent of $CROWN, production has resumed and farmers are once again able to expand their farms by acquiring freshly minted Rabbits, Foxes, and Hunters.
For protecting their farm through staking, Farmers now accrue $CROWN instead of $CARROT. Meanwhile, $CARROT supply is dwindling and can only be traded between farmers.
New Mechanics and Utility for CARROT
The once plentiful $CARROT is now a scarce resource. Even worse, the spreading corruption continues to consume unclaimed $CARROT. Existing $CARROT rewards will deteriorate every day.
Our Keeper has created Barrels that are able to preserve $CARROT from the plague of corruption. Barrels will be exchangeable with CARROT.
Increased Risks
Foxes and Hunters have become desperate and have increased their tax on the farm. All risks have been elevated. Bribes using preserved $CARROT will reduce the risks.
Website Leaderboard and Events
We’ve updated the website to include carrot balances, game statistics, leaderboards, and game events. We’ve also added more interactions and notifications for you right on the website. You’ll be able to stay on top of the game and see whenever something happens to your precious creatures!
API Overhaul
We’ve optimized and revamped our API to better handle the increased volume from all the new people playing the game.
We’ve also connected TheGraph indexer to easily obtain farmer staking information, as well as statistics from the game. You will no longer have to manually input any token IDs. The only thing required to play the game is connecting your wallet, our website will do the work for you.
Mobile-first Website
We’ve completely overhauled the website for both desktop and mobile devices. We’ve made a custom version of the same UI built for our mobile farmers to be able to access the mainland from anywhere. No big, desktop machinery is needed. Easy, immersive, and interactive. Stay ahead of the pack at all times. (UI in the example below shows $CARROT but it will be $CROWN)
Combined OS Collections
We reached out to OpenSea to have our collections merged. You can now find both Gen0 and Gen1 together on our official links section in discord.
New Two-phase Randomization
We’ve taken a fresh approach to randomization after conversations with other projects, receiving feedback from the community, and consultation from outside experts. We’re leveraging two transactions to ensure fair and equal play for everyone.
When do we begin to harvest?
The Hunter, the Mechanic, and I have all been hard at work on the mainland, preparing for the next harvest. Our main focus is ensuring everyone has an enjoyable, fair, immersive, and easy experience going forward.
